Welcome to St John’s.
St John’s Preparatory for Boys is a proud member of the Zimbabwean Association of Trust Schools, the Southern African regional body of ISASA and the International Boy’s Schools’ Coalition.
It is impossible to give you a sense of what our school is all about through this website, but I do hope that it serves to encourage and shepherd you through our Bawden Gates to come and meet us.
Our vision is to nurture boys to be the best that they can be and we believe that our culture comes first. Strong, overlapping and cohesive interactions among all members of our school community is our “green blood”.
Essentially, we understand and celebrate boys. We embrace the intellectual, physical, social and emotional lives of our boys and appreciate the intensity and complexity of boyhood. St John’s intentionally educates our boys to excel academically and grow into men of integrity, empathy and respect.
We are a Christian school and pray that whatever things are true and honourable,
lovely and of good report may here abound and flourish.
